Web Tools to Improve Your Performance
There are a variety of web tools that will assist you in presenting or preparing for a lesson. The following tools offer free versions and allow you to be more productive as well as tech savvy.
ZoomIt
This presentation tool is a quick download from the Internet. It allows the user to use the Control key with the numbers 1, 2, or 3 to zoom into the screen, turn the mouse into a marker, annotate, or put a timer on the screen. This is a WINDOWS application.
Note: If you have a Macintosh computer, you use the green Zoom button in Mac OSX programs, or a vaiety of programs titled: Right Zoom or free image zoom 1.0.

To Install ZoomIt:
Download the zip file to the desktop, double click to open the ZoomIt folder and unzip contents, drage the ZoomIt.exe file to the desktop. When you double click on the zoomIt.exe file to launch it, a small icon will show up on the taskbar.

- Click on the ZoomIt.zip -a zipped file to download to install ZoomIt.
- Click on ZoomItdetails.pdf which contains details about the features of the program,
- Click on ZoomItDemo.mp4 - a video about the details of the program and a recorded demonstration using the features.
ZAMZAR
ZAMZAR is a free online conversion tool that will allow you to upload a file into the website, choose the format, enter your email address, and wait for the file to be sent to you. This is an easy way to convert file formats and it is completely FREE!

MediaConverter
MediaConverter can convert up to five videos per day, and up to 100mb for each video using the FREE version. This site allows you to convert online video for use in other applications. A premmium version is also available.
